Sometimes the great shots are right under your nose in the backyard! Getting the best landscape shot frequently means getting up before dawn, hoping the weather cooperates. Ditto at sunset – there are lots of variables that can challenge your creativity. But every once in a while, if you’re ready for the shot it might be right under your nose! And even the neighborhood cat is there to be part of the welcoming party 🙂
Update: This was captured in the spring of 2014 in our backyard. Â The deer had been coming and going for several years before this. Â Initially when a section of our fence had fallen over we opted not to fix it so the deer could come in and enjoy the tall grass. Â Needless to say they also enjoyed our plants, flowers and vegetables. Â We brought adopted Kaliki (our Siberian Husky) in August of 2015 and at that time we had to fix the fence. Â In some ways it was bitter sweet as we received a lot of enjoyment watching the deer interaction, love and bond with each other. Â We still smile when we see them in the neighborhood.
