Excitement today – starting off with a drone flight over La Posa, then off to visit with Escapees Xscapers Quartzsite Convergence to climb the “big hill” and finish the day with a bonfire to cheer on the Scavenger Hunt award winners – awesome group and wish we didn’t have to leave our new friends so soon…
Nothing quite like Twin Peaks views overlooking San Francisco on a clear winter day (during a side trip getaway between California Travel Videos trips in our Recreational Vehicle). And with low winds we caught someone flying a Phantom drone… kinda naughty to fly above peaks within 5 miles of San Francisco International airport!
In our first of two segments travelling up the Russian River, we enjoyed an awesome RV getaway at the SPECTACULAR Casini Ranch Park and Campground. We also checked out the ever eclectic Guerneville, the majestic Northwood Golf Course deep in the Redwoods, and Kozlowski Farm specialty food store on our way to Sebastopol. Be sure to also check out our outrageous canoe trip on the Russian River on our next segment!
Next up: cTv RV Life, Russian River canoe water fight at Casini Ranch – flip time?
Thank you for watching our show and we look forward to hearing from you!

Prior to owning our RV, we traveled North to Point Arena to enjoy the rural ocean scenery with our Siberian Husky, Kaliki, who discovered formidable burrowing gopher holes. We all got our money’s worth going down to the Greenwood State Beach in the sleepy city of Elk. Next we will check out Bowling Ball Beach and the Point Arena Lighthouse.
Here we go again on day 2 at lovely Samuel P Taylor State Park – hiking trail, learning about the park’s history and predecessors, plus playing in the beautiful redwoods. While we were fortunate to stay at the park during non-peak days (Sunday and Monday night) at the end of summer when schools were back in session, the park, river and redwoods are always worth admiring.
Finally, we are off and ready for romance in our Fleetwood RV “Rhiannon” on our first trip. It’s celebration time for two newbies ready to taste the good life and RV Living in our recreational vehicle. So will we find romance or…? We’re rookies, so please feel free to coach us with your comments and be sure to SUBSCRIBE on our YouTube channel with more fun coming in Part 2…
Mother’s Day at the Sunset exhibit – What a great opportunity to take our mothers out for the day and a great way to celebrate their day! Jan 11th 2016 – Kaliki, our Siberian Husky loves to do water workout exercising at Richardson Bay in Corte Madera. Look for more upcoming California Travel Video shows with Kaliki.
update: We learned later that our dog should of been on a leash in this area. A little ways down from here they had a beach where it was ok to have them to be off leash. Still newbies but will be more careful in the future. 🙂
On our last vacation (honeymoon) at Lake Tahoe, we drove down near the south shore at the Emerald Day overlook for some sunrise photos. Here’s one of our quickie Periscope videos
( #CATravelvideos ) before departing as the majestic sun made its entrance… right into our camera lens!
