Awesome Scenery eBike Ride – Presque Isle, Erie Pennsylvania

Video 21 of our Series, Around the USA in 90 Days!

Presque Isle is true to its name, a very long, skinny peninsula that hooks around Erie Pennsylvania like Cape Cod does for Plymouth Massachusetts. Better yet, for hikers and bike riders Presque Isle has a full forest tree cover to provide shelter with the typical winds of the Great Lake Erie. Along the path are sites of nearby Erie – no wonder with Presque’s protection the seaport was chosen by settlers hundreds of years ago. Of course, with such valuable real estate, it led to wars between the Native Americans, British and American Settlers.

Video 15 of our Series, Around the USA in 90 Days!

Once in a while it’s okay to RV overnight in a Walmart (Winona, Minnesota) and the nearby lake was beautiful. Bad news – don’t run wide open with your dog on wet grass chasing a squirrel into a tree!
