Getting High Atop Beartooth Pass, 11,000 Foot in the SNOW

Video 10 of our Series, Around the USA in 90 Days!

As we left Yellowstone Park heading North-East, we spent the night at the Crazy Creek Campground. Continuing North to Billings, we climbed, climbed and climbed some more in our RV before reaching Beartooth Mountain Pass at a whopping 10,947 feet high! Best of all, our Siberian Husky Kaliki loved the opportunity to frolic in the snow – overlooking mountain sheep and an abundance of pristine lakes.

Grand Tetons, Yellowstone Falls, Old Faithful, Buffalo’s Up Close

Video 10 of our Series, Around the USA in 90 Days!

After wrapping up our tour of the Grand Tetons (North of Jackson Lake), we entered Southern Yellowstone for an awesome “spin around the Park.” Yellowstone Falls had dramatic views and of course Old Faithful Geyser is not to be missed, complete with an insightful Park Ranger talk. Best of all, in the Lamar Valley we spotted herds of thousands of Buffalo’s, and even had one walk up to us in our RV!

Around the Beautiful Greenbelt of Twin Falls

Video 6 of our Series, Around the USA in 90 Days!

Idaho Falls may not have the stunning 200+ waterfalls we found at Shoshone Falls, but they makes up for it with a very long waterfall where you can get up very close (and personal). Also, the Idaho Falls and Snake River are so close you can easily touch it. And if that isn’t enough, don’t miss out on the beautiful greenbelt where you can walk or bike adjacent to the river and falls for a 5+ mile loop! Ironically we learned that the original project was spearheaded by their local Rotary Club!

Fly over Shoshone Falls, Spectacular Rainbows, Cutoff by Walmart Truck

Video 5 of our Series, Around the USA in 90 Days!

While traveling from Elko, Nevada to Twin Fall, Idaho a reckless Walmart semi-truck driver cut us off at 60 miles per hour! Fortunately, we avoided an accident and made it to see the phenomenal Shoshone Falls and were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful double-rainbow below the falls – WOW!!! Wild Horses and Off-road RV Breakdowns Do Not Mix (Mustangs in Nevada) – cTvFun

Video 2 of our Series, Around the USA in 90 Days!

As we head out of the Reno/Sparks area of Nevada, we soon come across Mustang … but we came in hopes to see wild horses (not the legendary Mustang Ranch). Of course, life happens while you’re making other plans and our trip is interrupted by a RV mishap when we pull off the road. But as the saying goes, bad decisions often make good stories… cTvFun,com

Around the USA in 90 Days in our RV, 1st up – Amazing Donner Lake

Video 1 of our Series, Around the USA in 90 Days!

WOW, while most first think of Lake Tahoe being associated with the Sierra Mountains, we were pleasantly surprised to discover the beauties of nearby Donner Lake – right by the Interstate 80 Freeway! Come along with us as we ride our eBikes around Donner Lake (drone video, too) and ride through nearby Truckee.

Alaska Travel Guide, Top Planning Tips you MUST KNOW

Alaska travel – everyone’s dream… or it should be! And while our appetite was whetted taking an 11 day cruise ship tour, with a State the size 10-20 in the “lower 48” certainly takes more time to do it justice. In our cTV California Travel show, we share our Alaska travel lessons learned from our RV Alaska pros – Pau Hana Travels (Gary & Stacey) and Landmark Adventures (David & Cheryl).

Quartzsite Xscapers Bash 2018 #3, Shopping, Fireside Songs, Night Photos

On Part 3 of our sojourn with the Escapees Xscapers 2018 Bash convergence, we left the boondocks for the day to head into nearby Quartzsite Arizona. Grace loves to get craft beads at huge discount prices in the huge Gem World store while I refresh our rig – dumping and refilling tanks. We had a blast taking a spin with our neighbor Brad and Carolyn RadPower electric bikes (gotta’ buy two!) In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious potluck dinner with other Xscapers, followed by awesome 1970s type music by the Status Crows duet. Afterwards, we went out for a nighttime photography session, doing foreground cactus light painting with the Milky Way stars in the background. Turns out the only thing in short supply are the hours of the day and night – so much to do, so little time…
