Cruising San Francisco, Palace Fine Arts, Pier 39 Fishermans Wharf

Completing our Panama Canal cruise we come back home into San Francisco bay in the wee hours of the morning.  The ship sails under the Golden Gate Bridge as the full moon is setting providing us with a sense of awe.  Our episode continues with the Palace of Fine Arts, Pier 39 Fishermans Wharf and lots of “segues” (sic) along the way!

cTv Model Boat Building Contest – Regent Mariner Cruise Ship

On our last day at sea from San Diego to San Francisco, at long last it’s time for our model ship building contest aboard the Regent Mariner cruise ship. Using nothing more than found, begged, borrowed or _____ items that we gathered on our cruise, we were definitely ready to compete in the high seas (well, at least in the Jacuzzi and choppy swimming pool waters). So bring on the judges assessment of our engineering and design, bring on the popular audience vote… or at least we THOUGHT we were all good to go. Then life happens 😉

cTv Cabo San Lucas, Cruising Lands End – Glass Blowing, Mexico Education

Cabo San Lucas makes a wonderful getaway for tourists who love basking in the warm Pacific gulf waters at “Lands End.” And while cruise ships shuttle tender boats ashore, our day trip included a fascinating boat ride to the tip of Lands End with narration by Cousteau and a bus trip to see stunning studio art works as well as learn about Mexican customs, glass blowing and details of how public and private education works in Mexico.

cTv Acapulco, Daredevil Sea Cliff Divers, Chapel of Peace, John Wayne House

Don’t miss the Acapulco daredevil sea cliff divers descent 100 feet into a narrow, shallow sea inlet!  This is our fourth stop heading north after cruising the Panama Canal.  On our 4 hour day trip, we also enjoyed seeing the Chapel of Peace, John Wayne’s hacienda, the nearby historic fortress and more. Three more cruise stops before returning to RV Life.
